The Boyertown Optimist Girls Softball League is an excellent opportunity to develop and enhance basic softball skills. Because this program is a developmental program, prior experience is not necessary.

Young ladies 12 years of age and younger who reside within or attend a school within the boundaries of the Boyertown Area School District are encouraged to participate in the program.

The participants are broken in to multiple teams according to the following age categories.

  • 5th, 6th & 7th grade girls (12 & under) ~ Play in the Boyertown Optimist League (ASA Sanctioned fast pitch softball). Shirts and hats are provided which each child may keep after the season. There are away games required with no transportation provided.
  • 3rd & 4th grade girls (10 & under) ~ Play in the Boyertown Optimist League (ASA Sanctioned fast pitch softball). Shirts and hats are provided which each child may keep after the season. There are away games required with no transportation provided.

While the Optimist Club of Boyertown does not sponsor baseball, for those interested in playing baseball, the club strongly recommends that you contact the Boyertown Midget Baseball League at www.boyertownmbl.com.
